phone, or social media, how we use it, and how you can have it removed.
It covers Iron Mountain Resort and Iron Mountain Garage, LLC ("we", "us"), including our
automated assistant, **Sonny**.

## When this applies
You interact with Sonny when you:
- **Text or call** the number we publish
- **Message us** on Facebook Messenger or Instagram
- **Use the chat** on our website
Sonny is an automated assistant, not a person. You are told this when you call, and you
can ask for a human at any time.

**We do not collect payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or dates of birth
through Sonny.**

## How your conversations are processed — the part most people ask about
**The AI runs on our own computer, in our own building.**
What you write or say is **not sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any other AI
company.** No outside AI provider sees your conversation, and no outside company uses
it to train anything.
The only outside services involved are:
- **Telnyx**, our phone carrier — it carries the text or call, exactly as any phone
company does
- **Meta (Facebook/Instagram)** — only for messages you started on their platform, and
only to deliver the reply
- Our own booking and repair system

## How long we keep it
**Conversations are kept for 13 months, then deleted automatically.**
Records of your messaging preferences — specifically, that you asked us to stop texting
you — are kept indefinitely. That record is what ensures we keep honouring your request.

## Who can see it
Only Iron Mountain staff who need it. Your information is stored on our own equipment
with access restricted to the business owner and staff he authorises.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not give it
to other companies for their own use.

## Your choices
### Stop receiving texts
Reply **STOP** to any message. This takes effect immediately. Reply **START** to resume,
or **HELP** for help.
You can also ask us to stop by phone, email, or in person, and we will honour it.
### Request a copy of your information
Email **hunter@ironmountainresort.com** with the phone number or name you used, and we
will tell you what we hold.
### Request deletion of your information
Email **hunter@ironmountainresort.com** with the subject **"Delete my data"** and include
the phone number or Facebook/Instagram name you contacted us from.
We will delete your conversation records within 30 days and confirm by reply.
Two things we cannot delete:
- **Records of a repair or purchase**, which we must keep for tax and warranty purposes
- **The record that you opted out of texts**, which is what stops us texting you again
If you contacted us through Facebook or Instagram, you can also remove the conversation
from within Messenger or Instagram directly.

## Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from
children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will
delete it.

## Recording and automated assistance
Calls and messages may be handled by an automated assistant, and a written record is
kept for up to 13 months so we can check the quality of the answers given. You are told
this at the start of a call.
If you would rather speak to a person, say so and we will arrange it.

## Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be
noted on our website.
